Controls and parameters
Labels and units follow the controls in the app. The instrument, model, or mode can change which controls are visible.
| Control | Displayed range | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Body | 0 – 10Control scale 0–10; not a distortion percentage or a dB value. | The sense of weight or resonance associated with an instrument's body. |
| Top | 0 – 10Control scale 0–10; not a distortion percentage or a dB value. | The character of the simulated body's top contribution. |
| Air | 0 – 10Control scale 0–10; not a distortion percentage or a dB value. | A sense of upper-frequency detail or openness. |
| Attack | 0 – 10Control scale 0–10; not a distortion percentage or a dB value. | The amount of picking or transient character on a 0–10 control scale; this is an amount, not a time in milliseconds. |
| Blend | 0 – 100 % | The balance between the original signal and the processed signal. |
| Level | -24 – 12 dB | The strength of a signal at a point, or a control that changes it. |
Model options
Effect models
Balanced body for open strumming.
A deeper body for rounded strumming.
Focused body with clear pick articulation.
More prominent pick detail for single-note passages.
What is this effect for?
Shapes acoustic character from a clean electric input through body, top, air, and pick attack.
Try listening
Start with a clean middle or neck pickup, choose the appropriate Single-coil or Humbucker correction, then choose a model. Bypass the electric amp and cabinet. Compare rhythm and melody separately.
Things to watch
The simulator does not reconstruct an acoustic guitar or microphone exactly. A bridge pickup can sound thinner and sharper depending on the pickup. Parlor Pick adds pick detail within the same model family; it is not simply a different preset name.
Open the definition on a control label to understand its function. The same label can mean different things in different effects. Compare the active and bypassed sound at similar levels.
