Soft clipping rounds the peaks gradually. A nonlinear shape adds harmonics; native pedal results are more complex.

A simple mathematical model, not an OD, Forge, or Velvet pedal model. RMS matching affects only the second waveform; the transfer curve and raw Peak numbers keep their original levels.

Not an OD, Forge, or Velvet engine model. It does not calculate the percentage of guitar distortion from a spectrum.
