Presets, drafts, and saving

Save to the right slot and distinguish saved presets from session recovery.

Rigs provides banks 01–50, each with A, B, and C slots. Choose a destination, build the sound, name it, then press Save. Check the bank number and slot letter before replacing a preset already in use.

Draft and Save

Changes to the active rig can be retained for session recovery. That draft helps you continue editing, but differs from a preset explicitly saved to a bank. When the sound is ready, press Save and check the destination slot.

Import and export

An imported preset can open as a draft. Listen and save it to your chosen destination. A preset pack carrying assets differs from a preset file that only refers to local NAM or IR files.

Check external model availability when moving between computers. Capture or IR licenses determine whether assets may be shared; a file's presence in a preset does not automatically grant redistribution rights.

Factory presets as starting points

Factory, Modern, and Creative can provide a starting point. Results depend on the pickup, input level, interface, and monitoring equipment. Adjust input and level before deciding whether a preset suits the goal.
