Controls and parameters
Labels and units follow the controls in the app. The instrument, model, or mode can change which controls are visible.
| Control | Displayed range | Meaning |
|---|---|---|

| Depth | 0 – 10Control scale 0–10; not a distortion percentage or a dB value. | The amount of change applied by modulation. |
| Shape | 0 – 10Control scale 0–10; not a distortion percentage or a dB value. | The form of a modulation cycle, as defined by the effect. |
What is this effect for?
Changes the level periodically, from a gentle pulse to rhythmic chopping.
Try listening
Set Depth halfway, then change Rate and Shape. Put it before Reverb for a tail that continues flowing; compare placement after Reverb, where the whole ambience pulses.
Things to watch
Tremolo changes level, while Vibrato changes pitch. A manual Rate does not automatically follow BPM.
Open the definition on a control label to understand its function. The same label can mean different things in different effects. Compare the active and bypassed sound at similar levels.
