Controls and parameters
Labels and units follow the controls in the app. The instrument, model, or mode can change which controls are visible.
| Control | Displayed range | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Width | 0 – 200 % | The amount of the Side component on a 0–200% scale: 100% preserves stereo width and 0% makes it mono. |
| Bass focus | 80 – 500 Hz | The frequency boundary for centering low frequencies in stereo-width processing. |
What is this effect for?
Adjusts stereo mid/side components while keeping the low end centered.
Try listening
Use Width at 100% as a reference, then try 0% and 150% after stereo Delay. Set Bass focus and listen in mono.
Things to watch
A mono input that is identical in both channels does not become wider simply by raising Width. Check the stereo information already present before the effect.
Open the definition on a control label to understand its function. The same label can mean different things in different effects. Compare the active and bypassed sound at similar levels.
