Controls and parameters
Labels and units follow the controls in the app. The instrument, model, or mode can change which controls are visible.
| Control | Displayed range | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Frequency | 20 – 2000 Hz | Multiplying a signal by a carrier to produce sum and difference components. |
| Blend | 0 – 100 % | The balance between the original signal and the processed signal. |
What is this effect for?
Produces a metallic character by multiplying the input by an oscillator.
Try listening
Hold one note and move Frequency, starting with a small Blend. Compare placement before and after the amp.
Things to watch
Frequency is the oscillator frequency, not an EQ cutoff or target note. The resulting components are not always harmonically aligned with the instrument note.
Open the definition on a control label to understand its function. The same label can mean different things in different effects. Compare the active and bypassed sound at similar levels.
