Controls and parameters
Labels and units follow the controls in the app. The instrument, model, or mode can change which controls are visible.
| Control | Displayed range | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Duty | 12.5 – 50 % | The portion of a pulse period spent in its high state. |
| Octave | -1 – 2 oct | An interval with a 2:1 frequency ratio. |
| Blend | 0 – 100 % | The balance between the original signal and the processed signal. |
What is this effect for?
Creates a monophonic pulse voice from the input pitch.
Try listening
Play a clean single note and start with full Blend. Compare Duty and Octave, then mix the guitar back in.
Things to watch
Chords are not tracked as separate voices. Duty changes pulse shape and timbre, rather than simply gain.
Open the definition on a control label to understand its function. The same label can mean different things in different effects. Compare the active and bypassed sound at similar levels.
