Controls and parameters
Labels and units follow the controls in the app. The instrument, model, or mode can change which controls are visible.
| Control | Displayed range | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Input trim / Gain | 0 – 10Native models: 0–10. With NAM, the label becomes Input trim, ranging from −6.72 to +17.28 dB before the capture. | Native Gain drives the amp's nonlinear stage. For NAM, Input trim adjusts level before the capture. |
| Bass | 0 – 10Control scale 0–10; not a distortion percentage or a dB value. | Boost or cut applied to a filter band. |
| Middle | 0 – 10Control scale 0–10; not a distortion percentage or a dB value. | Boost or cut applied to a filter band. |
| Treble | 0 – 10Control scale 0–10; not a distortion percentage or a dB value. | Boost or cut applied to a filter band. |
| Presence | 0 – 10Control scale 0–10; not a distortion percentage or a dB value. | A high-frequency character control whose behavior depends on the amplifier design. |
| Master | 0 – 10Control scale 0–10; not a distortion percentage or a dB value. | The amp block's level before the next block. |
| Drive blend | 0 – 100 % | The balance between the original signal and the processed signal.Bass amp only, with the Warm or Drive model. |
| Low crossover | 60 – 350 Hz | The transition boundary between frequency regions in processing.Bass amp only, with the Warm or Drive model. |
| Input offset | -24 – 24 dB | A level multiplier used to adjust the signal at a given point.Amplifier only, with a NAM capture. |
| Reference | -24 – 36 dBu | Mapping a reference level so processing or measurement has a known basis.NAM capture; active only when calibration is used. |

An open clean sound that responds to picking dynamics.
A warm response at the edge of breakup.
Lead character with smooth saturation.
Loads an external amplifier capture. Requires a compatible capture or IR file.
Clear clean tone with generous headroom and lighter mids.
Bell-like mids with bright breakup.
Small-amp warmth with gentle sag.
Focused mids with classic crunch.
Tight bass with dense saturation.
Bass
A full-range clean foundation for bass.
Rounded harmonics with a solid low end.
Upper-frequency drive with the low band preserved.
Loads a compatible bass capture. Requires a compatible capture or IR file.
Acoustic
Clean pickup detail with headroom.
Gentle warmth for intimate playing.
Open detail for rhythmic strumming.
Loads a compatible acoustic capture. Requires a compatible capture or IR file.
What is this effect for?
Shapes an amp or preamp character for the selected instrument, including NAM captures.
Try listening
Choose a model and pair it with a suitable cabinet or IR. Set Gain, then EQ and Master. For Bass Warm or Drive, listen to Low crossover and Drive blend while preserving the low notes.
Things to watch
A full amp capture may already include the power stage; an Amp + Cabinet capture includes the cabinet. With NAM, Input trim changes the signal driving the capture, rather than turning the gain knob on the recorded hardware.
