dBu

RMS voltage level relative to 0.775 volts.

What does it mean?

dBu is not dBFS. Their relationship depends on the interface and its calibration. NAM Reference is not a way to guess a hardware gain knob's position.

Example0 dBu is 0.775 V RMS; different interfaces can map 0 dBFS to different dBu levels.
