The tuner reads pitch and the cent deviation from a target note. It differs from a level meter or EQ spectrum. If the guitar is silent while the tuner is open, check Mute mode. Choose dry input or the complete rig to suit what you are checking.
Tap Tempo
Tap at a steady interval to set BPM. A tempo-synced Delay follows its note division; manual Time and tempo sync are not two duration sources to apply together. Tap does not change the audio sample rate.
At 120 BPM, a quarter note lasts 500 ms and a dotted eighth lasts 375 ms. Use the tempo and delay demo to try the calculation.
Metronome
Use the click for timing practice and adjust its level separately from the instrument. Record clean DI + rig excludes click and backing from its paired recordings. The beat icon shows timing on screen; a controller's lights only follow if the hardware and feedback protocol support it.
