Adding and editing pedals

Find a model, adjust its parameters, and read levels before and after the effect.

Use + on a path or the three-dot menu to choose where to add an effect. Search by name or browse categories, then choose a model for the goal. The library adapts its choices to the instrument and shows older-preset compatibility options when relevant.

Effect types and models

A type is a block such as Delay or Distortion. A model is a variation within that block: Echo Digital and Echo Tape are both Delay, but have different characters. The reference covers 36 effect types; the library offers more model choices. A rig supports up to 32 effect instances and up to 8 NAM models.

Editor and bypass

Click a card to open its editor. Change the editor controls to shape the sound; knobs drawn in the artwork are illustrations. The indicator or bypass action controls whether processing is active. Compare active and bypassed sound, then adjust output level so the comparison is fair.

On supported knobs, drag changes the value, double-click returns to the reset value prepared by the editor, and right-click or hold opens MIDI assignment. Some controls are only active on particular models. Tempo sync, model selection, or bypass can change which controls affect the sound.

Effect meters

IN and OUT show level before and after the effect. Open frequency detail when you need band RMS and Peak readings at that position. Peak/RMS meters do not give a distortion percentage.

See the complete pedal reference for purposes, models, ranges, and control meanings.
