Controls and parameters
Labels and units follow the controls in the app. The instrument, model, or mode can change which controls are visible.

| Decay | 0 – 10Control scale 0–10; not a distortion percentage or a dB value. | Controls the reverb tail's duration character on a 0–10 scale; the number is not an RT60 value in seconds. |
| Damping | 0 – 10Control scale 0–10; not a distortion percentage or a dB value. | Attenuation of part of a tail as it develops. |
| Blend | 0 – 100 % | The balance between the original signal and the processed signal. |
| Width | 0 – 100 % | The stereo spread of reverb ambience, displayed on a 0–100% scale. |
| Pre-delay | 0 – 200 ms | The initial gap between the direct signal and the start of ambience. |

Dense, smooth studio ambience.
Spacious ambience with a long tail.
Short reflections with a close feel.
Light ambience with a component one octave higher.
What is this effect for?
Adds Room, Hall, Plate, or pitched Shimmer ambience.
Try listening
Start with Room and a small Blend. Change Decay, Damping, and Pre-delay one at a time. Compare Hall, Plate, and Shimmer, then check Width in stereo and mono.
Things to watch
Long Decay or a large Blend can blur lead notes. Shimmer here is an audio effect with a pitched component.
Open the definition on a control label to understand its function. The same label can mean different things in different effects. Compare the active and bypassed sound at similar levels.
