Controls and parameters
Labels and units follow the controls in the app. The instrument, model, or mode can change which controls are visible.
| Control | Displayed range | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Rate | 0.05 – 8 Hz | How quickly a process repeats or changes. |
| Depth | 0 – 10Control scale 0–10; not a distortion percentage or a dB value. | The amount of change applied by modulation. |
| Feedback | 0 – 85 % | Feedback that emphasizes the moving phase and notch response. |
| Blend | 0 – 100 % | The balance between the original signal and the processed signal. |
What is this effect for?
Moves notches through phase changes, creating a swirling character.
Try listening
Play a sustained chord with a slow Rate. Compare placement before and after drive at similar output levels.
Things to watch
Phaser and Flanger use different mechanisms. Mixing paths with different phase responses can weaken some frequencies.
Open the definition on a control label to understand its function. The same label can mean different things in different effects. Compare the active and bypassed sound at similar levels.
