Controls and parameters
Labels and units follow the controls in the app. The instrument, model, or mode can change which controls are visible.
| Control | Displayed range | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Input | -24 – 24 dB | A level multiplier used to adjust the signal at a given point. |
| Output | -24 – 12 dB | The strength of a signal at a point, or a control that changes it. |
| Blend | 0 – 100 % | The balance between the original signal and the processed signal. |
| Reference | -24 – 36 dBu | Mapping a reference level so processing or measurement has a known basis.NAM Pedal; active only when calibration is used. |
Model options
Effect models
An external pedal capture that runs independently. Requires a compatible capture or IR file.
What is this effect for?
Uses an independent NAM capture with Input, Output, and Blend controls.
Try listening
Check what the capture contains before placing it. Start with Raw if the calibration metadata is unknown. Listen with full Blend, then balance Input and Output. Use calibration only with a known reference.
Things to watch
An Amp + Cabinet capture does not become pedal-only because it is loaded in the NAM Pedal block. An unsuitable Reference or input level can make the result too clean or excessively distorted.
Open the definition on a control label to understand its function. The same label can mean different things in different effects. Compare the active and bypassed sound at similar levels.
