Controls and parameters
Labels and units follow the controls in the app. The instrument, model, or mode can change which controls are visible.
| Control | Displayed range | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Brightness | 200 – 8000 Hz | A clear or bright quality related to the distribution of highs and upper mids. |
| Percussion / Impact / Attack | 2 – 1000 ms | Shaping the start of the voice's envelope; certain models use labels such as Percussion or Impact. |
| Decay / Release | 20 – 3000 ms | The voice's release or decay envelope; some models use the label Decay. |
| Drawbars / Metal / Bow / body / Brilliance / Harmonics | 0 – 10Control scale 0–10; not a distortion percentage or a dB value. | The Character control changes with the voice: Harmonics, Drawbars, Metal, Bow / body, or Brilliance. These labels do not mean every model has the same physical parameter. |
| Ensemble / Chorus / Strike / Vibrato | 0 – 10Control scale 0–10; not a distortion percentage or a dB value. | The Motion control becomes Vibrato, Ensemble, Chorus, or Strike depending on the voice. Check the active model; it is not identical modulation across every voice. |
| Blend | 0 – 100 % | The balance between the original signal and the processed signal. |
| Volume | -24 – 12 dB | The strength of a signal at a point, or a control that changes it. |

A hollow-sounding lead built from a square waveform.
A soft, rounded lead built from a triangle waveform.
A slow attack with slightly detuned string voices.
A bow-like attack with focused harmonics.
Stable additive harmonics with drawbar-organ character.
A warm, swelling synth-brass voice.
A brighter harmonic lead with clear articulation.
A decaying orchestral-style accent.
A narrow pulse for retro-style melodies.
Inharmonic bell components with a bright strike and gentle decay.
A rounded fundamental with controlled odd harmonics for retro bass.
What is this effect for?
Turns the input into original synth voices, with tracking that depends on the model.
Try listening
Place it before drive and ambience. Choose a voice, test a single note, then chords if the model supports them. Adjust Brightness, the envelope, Character, and Motion to shape the timbre.
Things to watch
Not every voice supports chords. Tracking adds response time and can vary with input quality. These are not acoustic-instrument samples or outgoing MIDI notes.
Open the definition on a control label to understand its function. The same label can mean different things in different effects. Compare the active and bypassed sound at similar levels.
