Try listening
Use the same amp and phrase when switching models. For an electric cabinet, start with full Blend, then set Low cut, High cut, and Volume. For an acoustic body, compare Blend settings and the mono result.
Things to watch
A cabinet IR shapes a linear response; it does not create amp breakup. An extra cabinet after an Amp + Cabinet capture can filter the sound twice and make it dull.
Open the definition on a control label to understand its function. The same label can mean different things in different effects. Compare the active and bypassed sound at similar levels.
