Controls and parameters
Labels and units follow the controls in the app. The instrument, model, or mode can change which controls are visible.
| Control | Displayed range | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Boost | 0 – 24 dB | A change in level at a particular point in the signal path. |
| Tilt | -1 – 1 | Balancing low and high frequencies around a pivot. |
What is this effect for?
Adds clean gain and shapes a warmer or brighter balance.
Try listening
Try Boost at +3 dB before a driven amp, then after it. Match output levels to hear the change in saturation. Adjust Tone a little at a time.
Things to watch
Boost at +24 dB raises both signal and noise substantially. Check the next stage; boost before drive can add distortion rather than only volume.
Open the definition on a control label to understand its function. The same label can mean different things in different effects. Compare the active and bypassed sound at similar levels.
